Telling Food Allergies From False Alarms

All food allergies are not "immediate" or " histamine" related or Type 1 reactions as described in the February 2009 New York Times article, "Telling Food Allergies from False Alarms." Delayed allergies or Type 2 , 3 and 4 reactions constitute a major part of the hypersensitivity spectrum and are often the cause of various chronic autoimmune conditions like diabetes, fibromyalgia and migraines to name a few. EAB's LRA by ELISA/ACT® testing methodology is the only one that covers all of these types of delayed allergies. With just an ounce of blood, you can be tested for more than 450 items.

Call EAB Client Services at 800-553-5472 for more information on comprehensive LRA by ELISA/ACT testing.
