COVID-19 Antibody Test
This simple test tells you if your immune system has triggered a defense against the SARS CoV-2 virus that causes COVID-19.
What the test measures:
This test detects the presence of IgM and IgG antibodies to the SARS CoV-2 virus.
What the results mean:
When you contract COVD-19 your immune system begins producing antibodies to the virus. The first antibodies produced are IgM. These usually peak within 1-2 weeks of your first symptoms. As the IgM antibodies are decreasing, IgG antibodies are increasing. IgG antibodies last longer and help protect you upon subsequent exposure.

Note: Because COVID-19 is so new, we still don’t know much about immunity after contracting and recovering from it. A positive SARS CoV-2 antibody test confirms your exposure and immune response, but does not mean you can’t get reinfected with the virus. Consult with a healthcare professional for further guidance.
